SPREAD THE WORD posted 07:52 PM, 11/10/2009

OK, we have had our informational meetings...we have handed out forms or you could get them on line. We need all forms to be sent to Vicki by December 1st. Be sure to fill out the individual membership form, the medical form, the concussion form, AND our form which tells us your uniform size.

Check the calendar for dates for Rules/Scoring and for Tryout dates.

We will register for tournaments on December 12 and will post POTENTIAL tourneys at that time.

Help us spread the word and be sure everyone knows about the dates and the information. Thanks.

Sweatshirt Design Contest posted 03:02 PM, 10/18/2009

Each year we have a design contest in which a player can design our sweatshirts. The winning drawing receives 1/2 of the SJR fees. Here are some things we look for: we prefer the name SNAKE RIVER VOLLEYBALL spelled out (instead of SRJ). We prefer no date. We prefer only a two (at most 3 color) design--this saves money on printing costs. Be sure to get your entry in with your registration by December 1st.

DATES, DATES, DATES posted 02:59 PM, 10/18/2009

No this is not a dating service...hee, hee
I am receiving calls from conscientious parents that are wanting to know which weekends the tournaments will be on. I WISH I COULD TELL YOU THAT INFORMATION NOW but how this works is interesting. We need to know who wants to play. By December 1st, we will then know how many teams we will host. On December 12, we enter tournaments in the morning. This will then tell us which tournaments our club will be attending. We do not do team selection until the end of January. So in all reality, you may know what dates your tournaments are on by December 12 or you may not know until after teams are announced (if there are several teams/age group). Now this may still be confusing but I thought I would try to explain on the website. If you have more questions, feel free to call.

Pullman Volleyball Club posted 06:30 PM, 10/10/2009

I wanted to let everyone know of an opportunity:
The Pullman VB Club has invited any of you to tryout with them this year. They are forming a U18 or U17 "national team" which means a team that will compete earlier and go to some bigger tournaments. This will of course cost more as well.
They will be having a parent meeting on WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT 7:00 PM ON OCTOBER 28TH. LOCATION IS TBA. Washington State University Head Coach Andrew Palileo will be involved with the elite team (not sure if he is coaching or not but he will be involved). Just wanted everyone to know.

Of course, the best club in the area is still
SNAKE RIVER VOLLEYBALL but I thought I should tell you were invited :)
